Laboratory
We perform many of your pet's tests here in our own lab, which provides for more timely results. Here are some of the tests we perform:
- Blood work - complete blood counts, diagnostic chemistry profiles, preanesthesia profiles
- Urinalysis - microscopic and chemical evaluation of urine samples
- Parasite examinations on stool samples
- Cytology
- Skin scraping examination
Some lab work, such as biopsy specimens and endocrinology testing, are sent to a laboratory specializing in veterinary medicine since even each species has variations among animals.
